Feasibility Study Core

The overall aim of the Feasibility Study Core of the Exploratory Center on Injury Mechanisms and Related Responses (CIMMR) is to increase the number of nursing and interdisciplinary studies that use state-of-the-science methods for investigating injury mechanisms and related responses.

Specifically, the Feasibility Study Core

  • Initiates Pilot Study entry into the Feasibility/Pilot Study Core that use state-of-the-science methods for investigating injury mechanisms and related responses.
  • Provides support for the ongoing operations of the selected Pilot Studies by monitoring the environment and resources for each project and by facilitating collaborations among investigators who share research interests in injury mechanisms and related response.
  • Disseminates knowledge generated from the Pilot Studies through publications, presentation, and creation of a measurement/methods database.
